RACO GPS recommends and supports GPS tracking devices from CalAmp and Queclink. Both are recognized leaders in the design and manufacturing of GPS hardware solutions, and each model has been thoroughly evaluated by our technical team for reliability, performance and ease of installation for years of service in the field.
We provide devices that operate on current wireless data mobile-networks — CDMA, GSM and HSPA+ — and will provision each device with a preferred carrier based on the location of your business operations.
We also offer mobile-network based trailer tracking, asset tracking and construction equipment tracking devices to ensure our customers have the best device for their application and environmental conditions. Whether you are tracking vehicles, assets, people, or all of the above, you can monitor each type within the same platform.

The LMU-3030 full-featured tracking unit from CalAmp features small size, superior GPS performance, OBD-II interface, backup battery, and a 3-axis accelerometer. These features enable the LMU-3030 to access vehicle diagnostic interface data, track vehicle speed and location, plus detect hard braking, cornering, acceleration and capture pre and post-impact data.
Superior internal antennas for both cellular and GPS eliminate the need for professional installation and make the LMU-3030 install quick, easy and inexpensive. Messages are transported across the cellular network using enhanced SMS or UDP messaging providing a reliable communications link between the device and your application servers.
The GL505 is a powerful waterproof GPS tracker designed for fixed asset tracking applications. It is powered by two user replaceable CR123A lithium batteries. Configuration allows it to wake up on a preset schedule to check if it needs to shift from dormant to active status and/or send update of its current location, then returning to a dormant state.
Optimally configured, it will operate autonomously for 1000 days. Its built-in 3-axis accelerometer allows the GL505 to detect asset movement and transmit an alert message.
