Some of our customers have been discovering that our fleet tracking solution works on more than just vehicles. We?ve been hearing from employment services and temp agencies who are using it our GPS solution to ensure their customers have enough workers for their events and to document the amount of time and the location where the work was performed.

Here?s how it works: the temporary workers install an app on their Android, Windows Mobile, or Blackberry smartphone. The employment services company then creates a geofence, or virtual perimeter, around the job site. Next, they create a custom alert that will email a specific person if enough workers do not enter the premises before a designated call time. Specific location and movement data can also be managed via the PC or mobile application and recorded in historical reporting for future use.

For example, let?s say the company is supposed to staff a convention with 14 employees from 9-5 for a week. The company?s project manager can create a geofence around the facility and set up alerts to notify them when 14 employees have arrived.  When that happens, the employment agency has fulfilled their Service Level Agreement. Or, an alert can notify the manager at 9 a.m. that only 12 temps are on site. This allows them to know that it is time to make some calls and track down two more employees to be in compliance with their SLA.

For less than a dollar a day, you can track a mobile worker and ensure your workers are where they are supposed to be, when they?re supposed to be there. To see if a version of RACO Interactive?s Fleet Tracking Service would work for you, contact a product specialist at 1-800-446-1991.
